Dear belog....

I miss you!!! It's been months since I "see" you. I've been busy ... super busy working. Still trying adapting to the title "doctor" in my life. Every time I think I have extra time... "oncall" comes bitching in and left me with nothing but depression....

Name me one doctor or dentist who never suffer from depression due to work?

If she or he exists, that means he or she is mentally retarded. Nooooo freaking way. There are ups and downs in work life. And thank god for me most of them are good memories, but oncalls will always be the party "poopers"!!

There was a holy silence like a gasp waiting for a magic to cast a spell on someone. It wasn't awkward at all. The silence was brilliant. As we sat there, saying nothing, stealing glimpse of each other. Afraid to stare for too long, afraid that the moment would end and left us with regrets. The room was air-conditioned, no wind dare to blow but somehow there was a chill running down my neck and face like a trigeminal neuralgia attack but somehow pleasant.

It's him. This is him! Sitting beside me. My heart skipped a beat. Feeling pathetic and silly as I gasp for air. He sat there with his eyes locked to me. They were small, deep and gorgeous in so many mysterious ways.

As our fingers intertwined, I was trying to figure out what is this weird feeling. It feels like an unknown chemicals running past my heart in an increasing speed. He was more matured looking since last we met. I realized how his jaw developed as he metamorphosis to a man.

Kerja kat oral surgery hosp serdang best. Lagi best dari klinik bedah mulut kat university dulu. winks ;) Penat tu biase lah. =)

Last few days, I got a trauma patient. Lepas patient turun dari ambulance, masuk emergency, kriiing kriiing.... tepon berbunyi... "Hello dental, saya dr. X dari emergency, ade kes kat emergency, boleh dtg sini skrg?" me and two dental nurses pun pergi lah emergency.. Padahal time tu dah pukul 12 tengahari . Perot dah berbunyi... sampai jumpe cik patient... muke dah terkoyak2... dari mata sampai semuanya lah. so kesian..huhu. jahit pnye jahit... nak keluarkan macam2 kacalah dalam muke die... bayangkan lah kene buat bendalah ni semua sorank2, atau berdua dengan dokter lain... serious penat.

Lepas 3 jam, stablekan bleeding die. Tibe2 ade dokter ortho masuk "Owh..awak dental ek? after u finished suturing the face, can you suture the legs also?" time tu memang rase nak mencarut2 dah... "pale hotak lu la...penat hell okey... i buat bagian muke je ok!!,"(cakap dalam hati je la) i tengok 2-2 tgn die pth, 2-2 kaki die patah, luke everywhere, rase macam nak pensan dah kalau kene suture semua lacerations. Nasib baik tibe2 ade HO yang macho datang tolong. =D

Tomorrow is Monday. Looking forward to work.

lame tak update. Dah kerja la katekan. Selama belajar dulu, tak pernah imagine kerja dentist gile2 macam ni... rase macam "menjebak" diri sendiri je.. eh ade ke kate "menjebak"? haha...

I'm overwork and underpay. Okay, may be not under pay lah, tapi sebab tak dapat2 lagi gaji sampai sekarang... So I'm a bit grumpy, I will be until the end of this month!! kuikui... Nanti dapat two and a half months punyer gaji... wah2 wah2!! (i won't tell u how much) haha... Seriously, I wanna buy a blackberry asap! My bf has been so nice and understanding I tak de BB, Kesian kredit die mengalir macam waterfal... waterfall tau... bukan sungai lagi. and since most of my bff are married to their BB... i think getting one is a good idea..hehe

I know I've wrote down a lot of bullshit in my blog before, I regret writing them. I have to admit, I was stupid and heartbroken. lol. But who cares now. lol.

Time menganggur dulu, rajin sangat masuk contest Fesbuk. Mula ngade2 nak masuk contest start dari BFF contest. My super BFF, Arina Aliaa ajak join. Manalah tau memang rezeki kite, dapat menang 1st prize =) Alhamdulillah. Sebab time tu 'terlalu' tak de kerja kat rumah... kite"termasuklah" another contest.

What if this patient came to your clinic with these complications. What would you do??? alamak...alamak.... !!

1. 60yo/male/Malay

With history of ESRF (renal failure), DM (diabetes mellitus), HPT (hypertension) and have just gone through dialysis in the last one hour. Complaint of toothache on the lower right side of the mouth. Difficulty in eating. No gums swelling. Mild caries seen.

Noted : poor dental hygiene, sparse teeth, lots of attrition.

Okey, gigi yang die sakit tu pulpitis reversible cetetot, plak and calculus banyak sangat. What should you do? kenape die sakit gigi?? and most importantly... tgk complication die.

1. have ESRF (renal failure)

Bila kite ade patient with renal complication and just gone through dialysis, yang kite kene "fear" is anemia. Jadi however pun kene avoid any kind of bleeding on this patient. Apa kaitan kidney dengan anemia??

ESRF disturb :

1. filtration

2. creatinine

3. production of erythropoitin

1.FILTRATION

filtration of glomerulus

- filter Natrium. phosphate, calcium ions

- hipercalmia (overflow of calcium ions), hyperphosphataemia(overflow of phosphate ions)

-fluid volume overflow

- metabolic acidosis, excess acid

2. indication of renal failure is creatinine

- if the level of creatinine is high, it will decrease the capability to descrete products and failing glomerulus filtration

3. ERYTHROPOITIN

Bila ade gangguan kat production of erythropoitin, erythrosit pun sikit. Jadilah anemia. and also fatique. =)

Alert** Patient with renal failure always* have hypertension and DM too.alert**

So. treatment for this patient is scalling for the problem tooth and superficial scalling for other teeth (non-gingival manipulation to avoid gums bleeding) and prophylaxis. A week after, dah baik dah sakit gigi die!! Calculus ni noty btol!! Tak payah tampal. Die sakit sebab periodontal problem. Gigi tu cume pulpitis reversible je. =)

Serdang is a Referred Hospital, so memang boleh budget la patient2 yang datang kat situ memang kes susah2 or with complications. I just found out what I've learned at my University is only 30% from what I have to apply in my worklife. (Beribu-ribu lemon lagi kene belajar!!)

Nak sharing sikit tentang mimpi dahsyat semalam.

1. Mimpi setelah subuh.

Semalam saya mimpi yang super menakutkan, kematian seseorang yang disayangi. MasyaAllah. Mimpi lepas subuh tapi. Nasib baik! Bangun2 tidur mengigil sepanjang hari, rase nak menangis. Sebak sebab rase real sangat. Harini, saya layan orang dalam mimpi tu macam raja, dia tinggal duduk kat kerusi je... makan minum dia semua kene serve. Jadi raja sehari. Buang air je cebok sendiri. =)

2. Mimpi di tengah malam sunyi.

Time form 3 dulu, sepatutnya dah wajib pakai tudung. Tapi time tu degil... Ya Allah. Tersangat sangat. Ade hati nak keluar pakai sleeveless dengan short lagi. Telinga dah la pierce 4 ketol. Pakai baju senteng2, pastu pakai fake-navel-earing. Time tu trend gile! Mak bapak dah berbuih mulut dah nasihat tapi nak buat camane, hati remaja la katekan...

Satu malam, pada tengah2 malam, Saya mimpi super dahsyat. Mimpi yang HIGH DEFINITION nya... sangat jelas dan rase super real. Mimpi tu macam ni, saya di satu taman yang sangat cantik, angin sepoi2... taman tu ramai sangat orang. Crowded macam kat funfair I tell you. Tapi pelik! semua perempuan.

Ada perempuan yang seksi, bukan seksi mana pun.. pakai mini-T ngan jeans ketat je. Pompuan tu cantik sangat. Kulit gebu putih melepak! Memang cantik lah!! Lepas tu kat sebelah kanan saya ada pompuan pakai tu tudung labuh dengan jubah hitam. Pompuan ni dah la kulit dia hitam kusam, jerawat plak tu, tak pakai makeup. Tak menarik langsung nak tengok!

Tibe2, awan gelap berarak, bumi mula bergoyang. Bunyi macam orang tiup dari tanduk binatang kedengaran... kuat sangat! Semua perempuan2 di taman tu panic tak tentu hala. Tibe2 dari jauh ada shadow hitam lalu atas kepala perempuan2 ni. Sorang-sorang jatuh ke bumi Allah dan mati. Tersisa saya seorang dikeliling mayat2 yang bergelimpangan.

Sebab mimpi ni HD atau HIGH DEFINITION. Apa yang saya nampak di mimpi ni macam apa yang kite nampak menggunakan mata kita seharian. Saya pandang kiri saya, saya nampak perempuan yang seksi, cantik dan putih gebu tu... Ya Allah, muke dan badan dia hancur macam telah disiksa bertahun tahun (padahal baru mati sekejap tadi) dan saya pandang kanan saya kat perempuan yang pakai jubah tu... Ya Allah, muka dia yang hitam tu berseri-seri dan dia mati tersenyum. Mayat beliau utuh.

Lepas tu saya tengok balik dekat shadow hitam tadi yang terbang tinggi. Dia datang ke arah saya. Bila shadow tu lalu je atas kepala saya, saya terbangun dari mimpi.

P/s : Tak lama lepas tu slowly saya berusaha menutup aurat.

Walaupun on-off tudung, baju pun kurang sopan lagi.

Tapi saya sedang berusaha.

Kadang2 kalau alpa, mulalah terseksi. Alamak!

Amaran Rasulullah tentang wanita bersanggul tinggi

“ akan muncul dalam kalangan umatku di akhir zaman, kaum lelaki yang menunggang sambil duduk di atas pelana, lalu mereka turun di depan pintu-pintu masjid. Wanita-wanita mereka( isteri mereka atau anak perempuan), berpakaian tetapi seperti bertelanjang ( nipis&ketat). Di atas kepala mereka pula(wanita) terdapat bonggolan (sanggul atau tocang) seperti bonggol unta yang lemah gemalai. Oleh itu laknatlah mereka semua. Sesungguhnya mereka adalah wanita-wanita yang terlaknat”- hadith riwayat Ahmad, jil.2, ms. 223.

Rasulullah s.a.w bersabda:

“dua golongan penghuni neraka yang mana aku sendiri belum pernah melihat keadaan mereka didunia: golongan yang membawa cemeti seperti seekor lembu lalu menggunakannya untuk memukul manusia dan juga kaum wanita yang berpakaian seperti bertelanjang, menggoyangkan badan dan berlenggang-lenggok, kepala mereka ada suatu seperti bonggol di kepala unta yang bergoyang-goyang. Mereka tentu tidak akan memasuki syurga atau mencium baunya sedangkan bau syurga itu dapat dihidu dari jarak perjalanan begitu dan begini”

P/s : Saya tengok ramai kawan2 yang tidak bertudung, sudah memakai tudung sekarang sebab trend...Alhamdulillah. Tapi hati-hati lah dengan perhiasan. Jangan TER-OVER... sebab Allah menjanjikan seksa yang TER-SANGAT pedih. Dah cukup teruk dah kite ni pakai tudung tak tutup dada dan pakai baju ikut badan. Tak payah la memburukkan keadaan lagi.

Note to self : Shikin cepat la bertobat.Dah tua dah ni cik!

Do you know that when I was a kid....I thought that....

1) We could clean our cats in the washer machine - As cats lover family, there's always cats hanging around the house. Inside out! I always thought that we could wash our cats in the washer machine and spin them and they'll come out PUFFF like cotton candies!

2) If we eat fruit seeds, they'll grow in our tummy at night - My dad told me to take out the watermelon seeds before I eat the fruit, he told me it's dangerous because watermelon "trees" will outgrow my little tummy. One day, I ate a seed and I didn't sleep the whole night. I was too scare to sleep.

Dad was right. Something will grow inside me, but I'm sure it's not from the 'watermelon's seed'.

3)If I wish upon a star, someday they'll come true... Disney princess did it in 'all' their movies and they always get their happy endings until one day my dad 'hempuk' me from behind."Woi! Dose besar lah!". (May all our sins were forgiven...huhu)

LONDON: Pengambilan 3 cawan kopi sehari dikatakan mampu mengecutkan buah dada wanita kerana kafein yang terlalu banyak boleh menjejaskan hormon dalam badan dan menggugat saiznya.

Kajian terbaru yang dijalankan sekumpulan penyelidik menunjukkan lebih banyak kopi yang diminum, lebih kecil saiz buah dada mereka. Hampir 300 wanita yang mengambil bahagian dalam kajian itu dan mereka ditanya purata jumlah pengambilan kopi sehari dan saiz payu dara mereka diukur.

Keputusan kajian itu yang disiarkan Jurnal Kanser Britain mendapati bahawa dengan hanya meminum sekurang-kurangnya 3 cawan kopi atau lebih sehari sudah cukup untuk mengecilkan saiz buah dada mereka.

Kesannya meningkat bagi setiap cawan kopi yang diminum.

I'm proud to say I've graduated from my University without a single chick fight. There's always at least one person we reeeeeeeeeally abhorred and hate in the Univ. Well there's one for me. And there's probably one for you too. Everyone gets their share. Everyone who knows me knew I easily get angry with that one particular person, but I never...i repeat NEVER scold, confront or shout at that person. I believe by not confronting that person will put some issues to rest.

FACT: Girls easily got jealous by other girls' looks and fame. But they are not aware of the situations and in denial. And one day they'll find themselves creating sick stories and gossips. It's just normal instinct to feel the warmth of glory. To win something. But actually, they've won nothing.

They've won nothing. Believe me, I've been to Hell and back. I've seen these people conquer and kill. No matter how many people believed them. They've won nothing.

I am not embarrassed to say, "I've been so publicly accused and embarrassed in my life, and non of the things that are said or told about me are true,"

I couldn't sleep the night before. I have butterflies in my stomach the whole day. I ran towards the arrival's sliding door at the airport, glancing between huge crowds of people. I'm only 157cm tall, my sight was easily blocked by the sea of people. I waited anxiously, walking back and forth. Pulling my white dress every 2 seconds, hoping to look slimmer absurdly. "He should be here by now," I text him. Hoping he'll jump out of nowhere and surprised me. I remembered the last time I had 'this butterfly feelings' at the airport was when I send my ex to catch his flight back to Kedah. Oh no, brain don't go back to that dark place. Come back! come back!! The sun shines brighter now.

A tall fair young man walked towards the arrivals door. He was wearing a black leather jacket and a dark Levi's jeans. He has spiky hair, small cat's eyes and broad shoulders. He was pushing a trolley which he have stacked his baggages. There were a very large bag, 2 bag-packs and two all sizes and shapes cartons. As he exit the arrival's gate, he and his cousin said their goodbyes to Acap. Their faces were enlightened. The Malaysia's sun shine their faces and all three of them glow like golden globes.

I tried not to stare, hoping for him to notice me before he caught me staring at him. That would be embarrassing. Aki saw me, he smiled. The first time his eyes caught mine, there was something different in the air. I could not help myself but to stare. I think it would be absurd to hide my smile. The airport was filled with people as far as the eye could see. I wished it was just us. Aki's cousin was teasing us from behind but his voice got lost in the crowd.

The rain just stop. We could smell the lovely damp earth of Malaysia. We stared at each other and we knew all was right with the world. We were home.

When i found out that Titanic 2 was released on August 24, 2010, I felt like jumping. I'm a big fan of Titanic (The first film @ the best film ever in history). Teringat zaman2 tengok Titanic pastu nanges teresak2... nak cover dari orang sebelah sebab malu nanti hilang macho. Tapi tengok banyak kali pun, meleley gak air mata, berbakul2 tisu kat sebelah.

But this story (Titanic 2) is not a sequel from Titanic by James Cameron. And according to critics, the rating is only 2/10. hrm..pandai2 je korunk kritik. Well to judge, we have to see the film dulu laaa...

Walaupun semua orang kate cite ni tak best, tapi tajuk die gempak. So I can't wait to watch it!

Nope, we're not breaking up! We're taking a higher step in a relationship. The scary BIG LDR (LONG DISTANCE RELATIONSHIP). Sucks to leave my soul mate on our anniv, but that's how things should be. I think it's best to go with the flow.

Dulu I hate Surabaya, it's dirty, the people are friendly but freaking rude on roads. Ego seorang Malaysian ialah sentiasa rase diri dia lagi hebat dari Indonesian, hanya sebab negara kita lagi maju cetetot dari negara deorang. Ni ego yang tak sehat ye peeps, hope korunk boleh get over it. =)

I'm looking forward to go home but...

Kat Surabaya nilah tempat I met my bffs and Syaukhi terchinta. This is where I met his parents and he met mine. I know all the best hang out place in Surabaya and all the best place to eat. To say in short, I've adapted to this city. I felt wanted and loved. Going back to Malaysia starting to feels scary. I lost my 'basic' needs in Malaysia. I have no idea about updates and it freaks me out because I have no idea "sape menteri2 kite sekarang hah? dapat ke korunk name kan dengan betol sorank2? Mesti huru-hara nya,"

Leaving Syaukhi here on our anniv feels like being hit by a sledgehammer.

Selalunye I takkan post binatang ni kat blog tapi kali ni buat exception, sebab chihuahua ni cute sangat. Si cute ni lahir kat Jepun dengan heart-shape kat badan dia. Name dia Heart-Kun, dilahirkan kat Pucchin dog shop, May 18, 2007. Nama tuan dia Emiko Sakurada, mesti tuan dia geram tengok dia ni kan? Menurut tuan dia, Heart-kun bawa good luck. Sejak dia bele si kiut ni, dia menang tiket loteri dan konsert tiket. wow! hebat... betol ke ni? macam mane pun judi dan anjing tu haram ye kawan2. =)

CHILD AND CACTUS

"You are the first person I've ever loved, and so i love you very much. But I don't know how to show it. What do I have to do for you to be happy?"

The child asked the cactus.

"I just, want to be hugged by someone," answered the cactus as it gave a little smile.

"Really? Really?! Then you'll REALLY be happy?"

The little boy walked towards the cactus and hugged it.

[Cactus' POV]

"Someone please take this child away. My thorns are pricking the child, the more I try to push away,the more my thorns will hurt him. By what's happening, I will eventually kill this child. Someone please take this child away...."

[The child POV]

"The cactus does not look at me and smile. I don't know how to love. To me... love keeps hurting me. And so I keep hugging it tighter. But the cactus still does not smile. Does not smile..."

The child keeps hugging the cactus tighter. Until the cactus smile will smile...

P/s : Are you the cactus, who runs away from love because you're afraid of hurting others? or are you the child, who hangs on to love so much you can't see yourself hurting?

Bila dapat patient muka macam Channing Tatum

Pada suatu hari, ada seorang patient datang ke klinik konservasi gigi, nak tampal gigi. Kebetulan muka dia macam Channing Tatum tapi versi Indo. Super duper hawt yang bila dia jeling je Lu boleh meleley nye! Dia masuk kubikel I. Teros bareng kat my dental chair. Gile dup dap jantung (jakun gile tak pernah dapat patient handsome). Tapi si mamat mirip C.T ni bukan patient I, tapi patient partner I. My partner is a guy. So dia lek jer lah.

Tibe-tibe I sempat berangan, camane kalau 1 hari I dapat patient handsome camtu, handsome yang almost perfect la! Kuat ke I nak tampal gigi dia? I ni dah lah orang yang sangat pemalu, if nak tampal gigi, jarak dentist-patient is less than 2 inches.

'Oh Tuhan, kuatkan lah iman ku,'lol

"Dok, saya nak bawa balik gigi saya,"

Setiap kali cabut gigi my patient mesti I tanya "Cik, nak bawa balik gigi tak nanti habis dicabut?" Kenapa perlu bertanya begitu? Sebab I tak nak mengulangi kesilapan my dentist kat Malaysia dulu.

Gigi tu dah berjasa kepada kite beberapa tahun, Kesian kalau tinggalkan dia dalam tong sampah klinik.... ape salah dia?

Gara-gara nak pakai braces dulu, I terpaksa dicabut 4 gigi. What can I say? BEAUTY IS PAIN. Sebab terlalu sayangkan gigi sejak kecil lagi, I bagitau dokter tu, I nak bawa balik gigi I after extraction. I simpan semua gigi susu I. Simpan dalam satu bekas untuk dijadikan kenangan. Bila dah besar, sampai lah saat terpaksa cabut 4 gigi permanen sebab nak pakai braces.

Masuk2 klinik je, the first thing I said to the secretary was "This is my appointment card, this is the consult letter from my Orthodontist. Miss, I wanna keep my teeth after extraction,"

Tapi after cabut gigi, secretary dan dentist tu 2-2 lupe. I pun dengan tak malunye mintak "Miss, can I bring home my teeth?" Secretary tu cam cuak, sebab dia dah buang my gigi in the garbage along with other extracted teeth. BUSUK gile secretary tu. Buat naik darah orang je. huuhu. 15 mins later, secretary tu datang bagi 2 gigi dalam plastic transparent. I doubt those teeth were mine.

Gara2 insiden tu, setiap kali I nak cabut gigi orang, I mesti tanya dulu "Nak bawa balik gigi ni?"

My bf drove me to our sacred beach. Balekambang beach was meaningful to us because the first time my bf 'saw' me a year and a half ago was at Balekambang. If either one of us didn't go to BK back then, he wouldn't have noticed me and non of 'this' ever happen. It was 8 p.m when Syaukhi decided to take the wheels. I was his co-pilot. My jobs are to look for directions, read signboards, warn him for holes in the road, and most important thing was keeping him awake. The road to BK was dark, the local government have been stingy on road lights.

At 1 a.m, we reached BK. The chalet were fully booked. A party of eight people, 4 man and 4 women, we decided to set up a camp near the beach. By 3a.m, the camp was set and we had the most perfect camp-fire.

As day light crawls in slowly, the colours of the sky was brilliant. A ray of magenta lights peak between the clouds. The sun just woke up and the sight was magnificent. The wave was scary, it was as high as 2-3 storey building. The great height for surfing. BK offers a sight that no beach in Malaysia has. It was cold and the wave crashes to the tidal wave.

I walked along the beach, it was easy to spot my bf, The fairest person swimming in the sea was him. It's like he glowed when the water touches his skin.

Hand in hand as we sat on a big shallow tree's branch staring at Allah's greatest creation, the beach and the sea look the same as in 2009, but as Syaukhi gazed at me and his brown eyes reflected the sun rays, strong wind blew our faces, I know somehow it wasn't the same. Now, it's better.

That day, I felt in love with him all over again. He's like a candy, once you open the wrapping, even the Webster couldn't find the word to describe the sweetness of the taste.

P/s : We are all given a fair chance in this world and endless opportunities. The question is how we pursue them.
